Rebecca Vallance celebrates her 10th anniversary at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Rebecca Vallance is a former fashion publicist who launched her namesake label in 2011. <\/span>The Australian designer quickly garnered a reputation as one-to-watch, with a long list of celebrity clientele to prove it, including Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara and Kate Beckinsale. As Vallance says, the Rebecca Vallance woman is \u201cdirectional in her fashion choices,\u201d but remains classic at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s AAFW’s premier day, but it set the high bar already. Amongst the event’s highlights was Rebecca Vallance’s runway show which happened at Carriageworks, Sydney. The prominent designer celebrated her 10th anniversary since her debut at this year’s Afterpay Australian Fashion Week. She reminisced back when the time when she established her eponymous label while she was in London. Vallance also shared some of the most unforgettable milestones of her career: Her Australian fashion week debut, in which she introduced her first collection, and the New York Fashion Week, which she attended twice.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Her show called “After Dark,” which also pays tribute to 80’s rock, is what we have seen on Vallance’s collection on the first day of AAFW. The models ramped the catwalk wearing proper nighttime dresses matched with metallic boots and black eyeliner as the main highlight of the looks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vallance’s collection is a completely modernized velvety look through long sleeve mini dresses and gathered seams, while bulky bows presented a touch of femininity to an opposite edgelike collection. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also polka dot prints colliding with detailed rhinestone decorations and feathers. The addition of tailor-made separates and off-shoulder tops ensures that the collection can be wearable outside the glam gathering. <\/span><\/p>\n
